1. Who We Are

Ameritech Manufacturing ("Ameritech", "we", "us", "our") manufactures and sells commercial pressure washing equipment, pumps, parts, accessories and cleaning chemicals, and provides repair and warranty service. We have operated from Tampa, Florida since 1988.

This policy explains what we collect on ameritechmfg.com, why we collect it, and who else can see it.

2. What This Policy Covers

This policy covers the Ameritech website at ameritechmfg.com, including the knowledge base and the quote, contact and service request forms.

Our online store runs on a separate Shopify storefront at shop.ameritechmfg.com. When you click through to browse, add to cart or check out, you are on Shopify's platform. Shopify processes that activity, including payment details, under its own privacy policy and its own cookies. We never see or store your full payment card number.

3. Information You Give Us

You only give us personal information when you choose to fill in a form. Depending on the form, we ask for some or all of the following:

• Your name (first and last)
• Your email address
• Your phone number
• Your company or business name
• Details about your equipment or project, such as pump brand, target PSI and GPM, equipment type, application, or a description of the issue you need resolved
• Anything else you type into a message or project details field

We ask for this so we can answer you and price the work accurately. Please do not send us payment card numbers, bank details, Social Security numbers or other sensitive identifiers through a website form. We do not need them and we do not want them stored there.

4. Information Collected Automatically

Like nearly every website, our hosting provider records basic technical information each time a page is served. That typically includes your IP address, your browser and device type, the page requested, the referring page and the date and time. This is standard server logging used to keep the site online, to serve pages quickly and to block abuse.

We do not use this information to build a profile of you, and we do not combine it with your form submissions to track you across the internet.

5. Cookies, Analytics and Advertising

This is the short version, and it is unusual enough to be worth stating plainly:

• We run no analytics. There is no Google Analytics, no Meta or Facebook pixel, no advertising tag and no visitor tracking script anywhere on this website.
• We set no advertising or tracking cookies.
• The site uses your browser's local storage for one purpose only: keeping the site owner signed in to the content editor used to update this website. It holds nothing about visitors.

The Shopify store at shop.ameritechmfg.com does use its own cookies, which are necessary for carts, sign in and checkout to function. Those are governed by Shopify's policies, and you can manage them in your browser settings.

6. How We Use Your Information

We use what you send us to:

• Respond to your question, quote request or service request
• Prepare a quote and specify the right equipment, pump or parts for your application
• Schedule repair, warranty or service work
• Keep a record of the job so we can support it later
• Meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations

We do not send marketing email to people who simply filled in a contact form.

7. Who Else Can See It

We do not sell your personal information, we do not rent it, and we do not trade it. We share it only with the service providers who make this website and our business function, and only to the extent they need it:

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, if we must enforce our agreements, or to protect the rights and safety of our customers, our staff or the public.

8. How Long We Keep It

We keep quote and service records for as long as we may need them to support the equipment and to meet tax and accounting requirements, which is generally seven years. General inquiries that do not lead to a quote or a job are kept only as long as they are useful and are then deleted.

You can ask us to delete your information sooner. See section 10.

9. How We Protect It

This website is served entirely over an encrypted HTTPS connection, so what you type into a form is encrypted in transit. Access to form submissions is limited to the Ameritech staff who need it to do the work, and to the provider that hosts them.

No website or company can promise perfect security. We take reasonable measures, but we cannot guarantee that information sent over the internet is completely secure.

10. Your Choices and Requests

You can ask us to:

• Tell you what personal information we hold about you
• Correct anything that is wrong
• Delete what we hold, where we are not required to keep it
• Stop contacting you

Email info@ameritechmfg.com or call (813) 978-0809 and tell us what you need. We will respond within a reasonable time and may need to verify who you are first. There is no charge for this.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your local law. We honor requests of this kind regardless of whether a particular law applies to us.

11. Children

This is a business to business industrial equipment website. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Links to Other Sites

This site links to our Shopify store, to our Facebook and Instagram pages, to Google Maps and occasionally to manufacturer resources. Once you follow one of those links you are on someone else's website, governed by their privacy policy, not this one. We are not responsible for their practices.

13. Changes to This Policy

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and change the effective date at the top. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect. Please check back from time to time.
