Ameritech Manufacturing started in 1988 in Tampa, Florida, with a simple idea: commercial pressure washing operators deserved better equipment than what was on the market.
Our founder set up shop on North Nebraska Ave with a focus on three things that have not changed in 37+ years: build it in-house, test it before it ships, and stand behind it after. Every plunger pump, frame, hose, and reel that goes onto an Ameritech rig gets selected by people who use commercial pressure washing equipment themselves, not by a procurement team picking from a catalog.
The business grew with the operators we built for. Florida cleaning crews, fleet wash contractors, food-plant sanitation teams, mobile detailers, and property maintenance operators all came through the shop, told us what they needed, and we built it. By the early 2000s we had outgrown the original space and moved into the current 10,000 sq. ft. facility, which still serves as the manufacturing shop, repair service center, parts inventory, and customer showroom.
We are still family-owned. We still answer the phone ourselves. The team that builds your rig is the same team that will rebuild your pump three years from now. That has been the deal since day one.

The Tampa facility is intentionally compact. Manufacturing, repair service, parts inventory, and the customer showroom all share the same building, which means the techs who build your rig and the techs who service it work next to each other every day.
That layout is also why we can turn around quotes, builds, and repairs faster than competitors who manage manufacturing and service from separate locations.
